Chambord Shine Awards - Sydney

The Chambord Shine awards was once again on this year after many great years of success in the past. The awards attract the elite Fashion industry and media from Sydney and have seen such designers like Romance Was Born, St Augustine Academy & many other high profile designer participations. This year the finals were hosted in the Famous Strand Arcade and  featured a savvy invite list and judges such as Kate Waterhouse, Grant Pierce & Grace Otto.

Although our dress had a wonderful response there was only one winner and on this occasion we didn't get the prize. We do congratulate Limedrop from Melbourne for their win. Overall the experience was incredible and we were challenged to create something new, couture and we were very proud with our design.

Our inspiration took us back to the time of King Louis XIV , it was said that during one of his visits to the Chateau de Chambord during his reign he discovered this unique raspberry liqueur produced in the Loire Valley of France during the late 17th Century. Our modern take on the way women dressed back in that era resulted in a couture bodice with an amazing detailed center back lace feature finished with a volume skirt. Thanks has to be made to Tanja from Id couture who styled the look.
